Recycling Efforts Result in Dramatic Waste Reductions at SANYO-Verbatim CD Company

Richmond, Indiana, July 11, 1996 - SANYO-Verbatim CD Company is pursuing an aggressive recycling program that is resulting in dramatic reduction of waste at their facility. Terry Lainhart, General Affairs Manager, introduced and implemented many of the steps the replicator has taken to reduce the volume of solid waste. "We've always recycled trash at our facility, but since 1991 we've implemented a comprehensive program that targets almost every facet of plant operations that produce significant amounts of waste," remarks Lainhart.
